Eastney is an ideal centre from which to explore Hardy’s Wessex and areas of natural beauty including the spectacular rugged charm of Portland and the impressive Chesil Beach. The unique Tropical Gardens and Swannery at Abbotsbury, plus the scenic view of Purbeck and the strange rock doorway at Lulworth, make Weymouth one of the best centres for touring the west.

We are also well served by buses which pass the end of the road to Weymouth and Portland. A cliff top walk offering breathtaking views of Weymouth Bay leads to Nothe Fort, from which views over the Harbour to the main beach are found. Further a field the Dorset countryside is but a morning’s excursion away. Fishing, windsurfing, skin diving and golfing facilities and all available within a radius of two miles.
